This policy explains what information petiksmode.com collects and how it's used. We're a small affiliate review site — we don't ask you to create an account, and we don't run any checkout or payment process ourselves.

1. Who we are

PetiksMode (petiksmode.com) is an independently run product review and affiliate marketing site operated from the Philippines. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at letspetiks@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We don't operate any sign-up forms, accounts, or checkout process, so we don't directly collect personal information like your name, address, or payment details. That said, a few things on this site do process data automatically:

Hosting logs: our hosting provider (Netlify) automatically logs technical information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps for security and operational purposes.
Google Fonts: this site loads fonts from Google's servers, which involves your browser sending a request (including your IP address) to Google when the page loads.
Embedded YouTube videos: when you tap "Watch My Review" on a product, we load a YouTube video player. At that point, YouTube/Google may set cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policy. Videos are never loaded unless you choose to play one.
Google Analytics: we use, or plan to use, Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site (e.g. which pages are popular). This only runs if you accept our cookie banner — see our Cookie Policy for details.
Direct contact: if you email us (e.g. for a collab inquiry), we'll have your email address and whatever you send us, used only to respond to you.

3. Affiliate links

Product links on this site are affiliate links (primarily Shopee). If you click through and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The destination site (e.g. Shopee) has its own privacy policy governing data collected once you leave petiksmode.com.

4. How we use information

Any information processed through this site (as described above) is used only to operate and improve the site, understand general traffic patterns, and respond to direct inquiries. We do not sell personal information.

5. Third-party services

This site relies on a few third-party services, each with its own privacy practices:

Netlify — website hosting
Google Fonts — web fonts
YouTube / Google — embedded video playback
Google Analytics — site traffic analytics (if enabled)
Shopee — affiliate product links and purchases

6. Your rights

Under the Philippines' Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), and similar laws in other regions (such as the GDPR for EU visitors), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information we hold about you (for example, emails you've sent us).
