Saturday morning, I downloaded Diablo 3’s beta release to my PC and waited for almost 24 hours to complete the download (I work on 100-150kbps, so it lasted that long), and to my dismay it didn’t run because my video card is not supported. I tried to download it again on my laptop hopeful that I can at least save 5000 bucks for a new video card. I have to play Diablo 3 no matter what!

Though I was not yet able to play the beta version, I’m glad that I was able to try the beta release before pre-ordering online. Now I know what I need to do first before getting the official release. Buy a new video card!

Aside from the digital pre-purchse, others like myself will still opt to purchase the retail/boxed DVD for PC Windows Vista / Windows 7 and Mac. Blizzard Entertainment will also release Diablo III: Collector’s Edition though the date for its release, suggested retail price and other details were not yet announced at this time.

I started playing Diablo II in 2001 and got hooked with it. My office colleague was the one who introduced me to it, he installed Diablo II on my computer. I got addicted to the game, my mom used to scold me because I was up all night playing. I wanted to relive those moments ,so just recently, my sweetie bought me a Diablo II pack to keep me busy while he’s working on his computer at night.

We had problems though with the installation since my laptop is running on Windows 7. Diablo II pack is compatible to Windows Vista and Windows XP. We were able to install the game but the images were discolored, it only shows green and red colors on the screen. If you’re experiencing the same problem with the install, below is the quick fix you could use:

Diablo 2 on Windows 7 fix

1. Set Windows XP compatibility for diabloII.exe
- Right click diabloII.exe > compatibility
- Tick compatibility mode and set Windows XP Service pack 3
- Tick disable visual themes
- Tick disable desktop composition

2. Launch screen resolution window from desktop and leave it open
3. Launch diabloII.exe. On the game option window you will notice green and red colors, now ALT – TAB to minimize the game then maximize again.

After doing the steps above, viola! Diablo II is on!!!

Now that Imangi announced, Temple Run for Android is going to be released, eagerness among players cannot be stopped. They are very much excited about it and have been waiting for it since January. According to their official facebook account the game will be released on March 27 on the Android market.

The main objective of the game is to stay happy while keeping your carbon emissions low. This is your chance of building a new world by living a clean and safe life away from danger of carbon emissions.

So how can you lower your carbon footprint?

Make smarter choices with the items you buy. Right now I’d like to write about this new game from Digital Chocolate, the makers of Baking Life (I don’t play that game, my officemate does so I guess it’s a bit popular… no? You decide). Moving on, this latest game is called Millionaire City, which was launched I think somewhere between May-June this year and is still on BETA stage.
Millionaire city is about becoming a millionaire (so damn obvious!), here’s a good description from the creators themselves:

You know I like games like this, millionaires and stuffs, I played millionaire’s game (the board game? – YES) during my childhood and I enjoyed it, anyway enough with the blah.
The game starts with something like this poor neighborhood of nowhere.

You are rewarded with gold or cash if you complete a mission. You get cash from commercial buildings (commerces as the game describes) every 3 minutes. Aside from that, you get paid by tenants. You can use your income to invest more on buildings, commerces, decorations and wonders to expand your city. XP level up will unlock new items/buildings to build.

The game loads way faster than Farmville (maybe because it is still in beta and they have a few players to date), I can still play the game using my Sun Broadband. Yey!
I love Millionaire City, if you like Farmville you’ll probably like Millionaire City as well. Check Millionaire City in Facebook now if you are looking for a game that you can play at work, Ooopss.

My Rating: 4/5 being 5 the highest.

I was just looking for a flash game to play a while ago and I found bloxorz, the name is not that catchy though but it’s addictive.

It is a 3D puzzle game, good graphics and sounds. The aim is to guide the 3d block into the square hole, sounds easy? I don’t know about you, but it’s just frustrating for me when I can’t get to the next level.

I told her that she doesn’t need to download it anymore because there’s a Mafia Game application in the Almighty Facebook which is Mafia wars.

To my surprise , she said she doesn’t have a Facebook account yet. Lol. She still uses Friendster. LMAO. I told her to sign up and she will enjoy playing Mafia wars. So she did sign up for an account and now she’s so hooked into the best Mafia pc game .

I just find it a bit funny that I have a “yuppy” friend who doesn’t have a Facebook account yet. It’s just so uncommon nowadays.

Here’s the solution to this problem and modified a little, thanks to nalle.

1. First make a register keys.
   To do this you need to create a .key file, open notepad then copy and paste the following:

   Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

   [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blizzard Entertainment\Warcraft III]

   Then save as .key, e.g. TFTFix.key

2. Double click TFFTix.key to merge, or right click then merge. Note: Please be careful with this, if you are unsure what you are doing just add the registry keys to registry editor, this might be safer for you.
3. Create 2 files in your windows directory:

-War3Unin.exe
-War3Unin.dat
Those files are allowed to be empty but are REQUIRED!!!

Now try to install Frozen Throne again, the message you should get now is “Install Frozen Throne” or something like that.

Secret Level 10

Go to the end of the first level. Instead of going through the exit, turn right, and open a secret door in the corner of the wall. Then, turn 90 degrees to your right to open another secret passage. At the end, you will find the elevator to Level 10.

Escaped from Wolfenstein (15 points): Complete episode one on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
Operation: Eisenfaust Complete (15 points): Complete episode two on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
One Fewer Fuhrer (15 points): Complete episode three on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
A Dark Secret Revealed (15 points): Complete episode four on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
Sentenced the Madman (15 points): Complete episode five on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
Confronted (15 points): Complete episode six on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
None Left Standing (20 points): Get 100% kills on any floor on Don’t Hurt Me or harder.
Clean out the Castle (20 points): Get 100% of the treasure in any floor.
One of Many (10 points): Exit any floor at any difficulty.
Hey, That Wall Moves! (10 points): Find one secret.
You Are Death Incarnate (10 points): Complete one floor on “I Am Death Incarnate”.
Blazkowicz-ed! (40 points): Complete all six episodes on Bring ‘Em On! or harder.
