Sony Canada announced the availability and pricing of NSZ-GS7, Sony Internet Player with Google TV. It was introduced last January at CES 2012. The new TV Platform will be powered by the Google TV platform. It will be available to all retailers on Canada in August 2012, priced at $199.99. Pre-orders are now up. It will begin on June 27, 2012 at Sony’s website.

Sony’s newest Internet Blu-ray Disc(TM) player with Google TV, the NSZ-GP9, will also be available to the public before the holiday season comes. It will be priced at around $329.99. The NSZ-GP9 will be capable of running Full HD with remarkable Blu-ray Disc technology. There will also be a built-in microphone for a convenient voice search. It will have the Chrome browser which will feature thousands of apps. The apps include apps optimized for TV viewing such as Google Play Store and YouTube.

Both devices also has a customized remote control equipped with a backlit QWERTY keyboard, a touch pad for easy operation and a three-axis motion sensor to enjoy games. It is also a Bluetooth remote which makes it to be a universal remote control to gain control to connected devices such as TV, set- top-box and A/V receivers.

The product will be available on other countries on July. It will start on United Kingdom, followed later by Canada, Australia, France, Germany, Netherlands, Brazil, and Mexico. The NSZ-GP9 will be available on the US this coming fall followed by Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Netherlands.
