If you’ve got very active kids, chances are you are afraid that they might get hurt while playing.  This is every mom’s fear.  We always wanted them to be safe.  Now, you can leave your kids playing and still be confident that they are safe.  This is with the use of Rubber Mulch.  They provide an overall protection during your kid’s active life.

Rubber mulch is made up of rubber particles or pellets from used tires.  Used as rubber pavers on playgrounds, they also serve as protection for kids.  You can be sure that your kids won’t be hurt once they accidentally fall down the ground.  It differs from wood mulch because this soil covering provides spring like effect on kids.  They are flexible, durable and because of its quality as rubber this is long lasting.  It cannot be destructed.

Rubber pavers can also be use for landscaping.  This is a very effective soil padding, with its absorption quality which can maintain enough moist and nutrients while preventing the growth of unnecessary grass in the garden.

If it can provide protection for kids, then the more that it can protect players of various types of sports.  We all know how players move, let us take basketball as an example.  Most of the time players fall down from the high jump they did to shoot the ball; you can just imagine how rubber pavers help.  With its bouncing quality, it protects them from having injury.

Using rubber pavers is really advantageous, though costly since you will need 80 old tires to produce a square foot of rubber mulching.  But taking into consideration the length of service it can provide you and the safety that it can give you, the price seems to be more reasonable than having wood mulching.

There are also negative comments associated with the use of rubber mulch especially for kids.  Do you agree that rubber contains toxic materials?   Toxic materials are harmful most especially for kids.  As compared with organic materials which when decomposed brings out bad odor that is not good for the health of children, rubber mulch is much better.  Rubber mulch is non-toxic and therefore is safe for kids.
