Francisco Vs. Vasquez Highlights, KO video

Written by scant on October 4th, 2009

Hello guys, we have a new Filipino prospect at superflyweight division. Drian Francisco knocked out his Panamanian opponent yesterday at the Cuneta astrodome. His record now is 18-0 with 14 knock out victories. His style is kind of rugged and very unorthodox. Personally I want to see how well he can do against the Elite fighters in his division. Anyways, I hope this kid doesn’t get hyped up by the media and be labeled as the “next Manny Pacquiao” again.

Here’s the video guys, this is not the full fight, just the highlights with the KO part.

Hello Scant, I’ve been working out in the same gym drian used to train in and I watched 2 of his fights in person. IMO, Drian is a thinking fighter who times his punches and carefully chooses them.

However, in the HL above, I can say this isn’t his usual style. He’s normally calm and will pick the opponent apart. Maybe it’s his hunger to be a world-recognized champion that made him “kind of rugged and very unorthodox”.

Hi there Joseph, I’m glad to hear that. He is actually a crowd pleaser, I like the way he sneaks in his “no look punches”. Where do you train bro? Used to train a boxing gym here in qc but my time just won’t allow me anymore :)

We should be thankful that the swine flu did not spread very rapidly. it is not very deadly like Ebola but swine flu can still kill you.
