If you like conspiracies and prophecies, ” Is the world going to end in 2012 ? ” is probably one of the questions that is stuck in your mind.  Unfortunately the question will not be answered until December 21, 2012 – The date that many believe will be the end of the world. So where did that idea or theory come from? We’ll talk about that on the next paragraph.

The theory came from the Maya Mesoamerican civilization. To cut the story short, they had a deep understanding of numbers and astronomy, not astrology ok? so if you’re looking for horoscope, this not the topic to read. lol. The Mayans are the “NASA” during their time. The Mayans created a calendar so accurate that it predicted all the eclipses that were going to happen until december 21, 2012, and in that same year, the intriguing calendar stops.

There are many theories that have sprung up on why the Mayan calendar stops in 2012, some say that it will be the end of world, others say that it will just be the start of the 6th sun (whatever that means) and the world is not going to end in 2012. Some say that we are living in a transition period (1999-2012) and 2o12 will be the moment of transformation. Try googling ” 2012 prophecies ” and you will see a lot of information about it, in fact, there’s too many that you’ll get stressed out and confused if you try to read them all.

As for me and  my imaginary friend, lol, I will keep an open mind but will continue to live normally, don’t want end up losing all my money and feeling stupid and broke when I wake up on December 22, 2012.
