It was said that the Toyota Prius will be launched here in the Philippines by mid-June this year. I’ve seen one in Makati last week and it made my head turn not only because of the looks but the word “hybrid” from the back. I know that if you say hybrid it is actually a combination of gasoline and electric (learned it from discovery turbo hihi). So, either the engine or the battery or both can be used to power the vehicle.

It’s just amazing for me to see green cars in the streets of metro manila. I hope it will lessen the air pollution that we have now.

I want to buy this car for the sake of mother earth but I don’t think I cannot afford one. It cost anywhere from P1.99 million to P2.250 million depending on the model’s variant.

OK I think I’ll stick to my Daihatsu Charade dream for now. Hehe
