My first lesson learned in blogging
Written by scant on May 24th, 2009
It’s a typical beautiful Sunday morning here in Eastwood. Less cars, less employees in business attire walking down the Orchard road and last but not the least, less stress courtesy of my weekly day off.
I had just finished writing and was about to publish my first ever article for this website entitled “Undecided in Eastwood” – It’s a blog article about me trying to decide whether I’m going to launch a personal website or not, and my personal reasons behind it. I was saying that I am undecided because I wasn’t sure if I would want my life to be an open E-book to everyone who has a PC and internet connection but at the same time I feel like blogging because it may help me earn some extra bucks.
So after about 5-10 minutes, when I was about to copy paste the article from my notepad to WordPress, the amazing thing happened, boom! the color of the LCD just turned into blue and then a few seconds later, the computer shut down by itself! My first ever article is forever gone… LOL.
My first lesson learned about blogging (or perhaps not just in blogging) – save your article/file as often as you can while typing.
Happy Sunday everyone!
