Blood: The Last Vampire (video)
Written by Keeyo on April 29th, 2009After 9 years of waiting, the multi awarded manga sequel (single volume) Blood: the last vampire has been produced for live-action film adaptation. Saya Otonashi will be portrayed by Korean actress Jun Ji-Hyun (My Sassy Girl, Il Mare) who changed her name to Gianna Jun for this movie.
She will be fighting with Chiropterans using her katana in her high school Japanese uniform (everybody love girls in High School Japanese uniforms, kawai!) so watch out for it.
To the fans of Haji (Chevalier of Saya from Blood+), sorry I don’t think he is included in this release. They can’t afford another talent that has a good fighting skills and can play cello.
It is expected to be in cinemas on July 2009.
